Outside players keep possession with one or two touches, 2 defenders in the middle try to win or intercept the ball. When a defender wins the ball or forces it out of the area, the last passer swaps into the middle.
Defenders work as a pair: one presses the ball carrier, the other covers the passing lane. Pressing is directional — cutting off passing lanes.
