possession, passing, defending, first_touch · U10+
Three teams, one per zone (30×15 m divided into three 10×15 m areas). The teams in the end zones keep possession of the ball and try to pass to the other end zone. The middle team sends 2 players to intercept in the end zone and 1 stays in the middle to cut off passes between the zones. When the ball is intercepted or goes out, the losing team moves to the middle. A point is scored when the ball is successfully played from end to end.
End players open up widely and provide passing lines in both directions. The middle team presses as a tight unit — one presses, others cover. Ball control under pressure and quick transition to defense.
Do you open up so that the player with the ball has multiple passing options? Middle team: who presses, who covers the passing lane? How quickly do you switch roles when losing the ball?
