All players have a ball inside the grid except for one "shark", who starts outside the area. On the coach's signal, the shark comes into the area and tries to kick the players' balls out. The player whose ball is kicked out also becomes a shark. The last player on the ball wins the round.
The ball stays close to the foot, the body shields the ball, and the eyes are up — the shark's movements must be spotted early. Ball shielding, quick changes of direction, and reading situations are developed.
