dribbling, 1v1
All players have a ball inside the grid except one "shark" who starts outside the area. On the coach's signal, the shark enters the area and tries to kick players' balls out. A player whose ball is kicked out also becomes a shark. The last player with a ball wins the round.
The ball stays close to the foot, the body shields the ball, and eyes are up — the shark's movements must be spotted early. Ball shielding, quick changes of direction, and reading the play develop.
Where is the shark right now — do you know without looking at the ball? Are you shielding the ball with your body or is it exposed? Do you turn away from the shark or run straight at them?
