Attacking, Finishing, Passing · U10+
Four players in a diamond shape: both wide players, one in the middle in front, and one in the middle behind. The wide player starts dribbling toward goal. The player furthest back calls out, so the dribble is stopped and the ball is played back. The player furthest back turns the play directly to the opposite wide side, who advances and crosses. The other players arrive staggered into the area in front of goal to finish. Start alternately from either flank. Instead of a cross, a sharp low pass from the wide side is also allowed.
The two central players offer themselves actively. The ball coming from the flank is received in an open body position, and the turn is preferably made already on the second touch. Arrive in front of goal at different times and in different positions. Starting too early takes up the space where the cross was going to come.
When is it worth stopping the dribble? In what body position do you receive the ball so you can see both flanks? Who arrives first and who stays behind?
