The attacker starts with the ball at one end of the channel, the defender stands at the halfway point facing the attacker. The goal is to beat the defender with a feint or change of direction and score.
The attacker approaches in control, executes the feint at the right distance, and accelerates immediately after beating the defender. The defender closes down step by step.
At what distance do you make the feint? Too far out does not work. Does the acceleration come immediately after beating the defender? Defender: are you backpedalling in control or do you have to turn?
