The situation starts with a lateral pass from one line to another. The crossing attacker (orange) breaks away to the side of the defender and aims to shoot immediately after receiving the ball. In another variation, the attacker moves inside the defender.
Timing of the breakaway, first touch towards the shooting direction, sharp departure from the defender, choice of shot, weight and accuracy of the pass, body position when receiving the ball.
