Shooting, Finishing, Passing · U10+
A pass is played from the line to the blue player, who then plays a wall pass back to the first player in the line. After that, he chooses which cone to move to, and the yellow player moves to the opposite cone on his own line. The first player in the line then passes to the yellow, who cushions the wall pass to the blue, who tries to shoot directly from the pass at goal.
Passing timing and weight—too hard bounces away, too soft slows the rhythm. Planting foot positioning (beside, not behind). Shoot from the pass with as few touches as possible. Choice of shooting zone: the player looks at the goal before shooting.
Which direction do you decide to go—when do you make that decision? How many touches do you need to take after the pass to shoot? Can you do it in one? Did you look at the goal before shooting—where did you aim?
