Barcelona Shooting Drill — Football Drill

shooting, finishing, passing · U10+

The line receives a pass to the blue player, who continues with a wall pass back to the first in line. Then he chooses which cone to move to, and the yellow moves to the opposite cone on his own line. The first in line passes to the yellow, who drops a wall pass to the blue, who aims to shoot directly from the pass into the goal.

Timing and weight of the pass — too hard bounces off, too soft slows down the rhythm. Placement of the supporting foot (to the side, not behind). Shot from the pass with as few touches as possible. Choice of shooting area: the player looks at the goal before the shot.

Which direction do you decide to go — when do you make that decision? How many touches do you need for the shot after the pass? Can you do it in one? Did you look at the goal before the shot — where were you aiming?
