A direct free kick from about 20 meters where your own line of three players stands in the goalkeeper’s line of sight, at least one meter away from the wall as the rules require. The decoy runner crosses the ball, and at the exact same moment the line breaks out to the sides. The shooter strikes low from the released channel into the far corner, where the goalkeeper only gets to look once the ball is already moving. The wall’s job is not to cover the whole goal, but to steal the goalkeeper’s starting moment: a keeper who starts late won’t reach the low corner. Practice breaking the line so it happens exactly on the shooter’s last step—if the line breaks too early, it gives everything away.
