Cone Dribbling — Football Drill

dribbling

Cones are set in a straight line 0.8–1.5 meters apart. Players dribble the ball between the cones using the inside and outside of their foot. Relay race: a player dribbles through the course, turns and comes back, after which the next player starts.

Cone Dribbling - football drill

Touches are soft, the ball stays close to the foot, and the rhythm is steady. Ball control with both feet and coordination improve with repetitions.

How many touches between the cones? Does the ball get away? Are you using both feet? At what point does the rhythm slow down — and why?
