shooting, finishing
The red player chooses a side to move towards and asks for a pass. The first player in line passes the ball, and the red player aims to take their first touch in the direction of movement. The red player dribbles towards the goal, bypasses the cone defender with their chosen feint, and shoots at the goal. Rotation: the passer becomes the scorer.
- First touch in the direction of movement - Ball control while dribbling (ball close to the foot) - Timing of the feint and change of direction - Shooting accuracy and technique - Eyes up before the shot
- Which foot do you take your first touch with and why? - Where on the goal are you aiming, and when do you make your decision? - How close to the cone do you perform the feint? - How does your body position change during the feint?
