Pass to Overlap — Football Drill

The player passes the ball and makes an overlapping run behind another player. The receiver dribbles the ball near the cones and passes to the overlapping player, who then passes to a third line. The exercise progresses in four stages: 1) initial pass, 2) dribble to the cones, 3) pass to the overlap, and 4) pass to the third line.
