Create an overload by bringing numerical superiority into the middle of the pitch in U8-U9

Description

From a short restart by the goalkeeper with the players in position, one of the two wingers sprints towards the free area behind the opposition attacker. As our winger moves, the goalkeeper can either play short to the defender on the right or on the left, who can then find the free player in the middle. When the midfielder is found, our attacker must make a run into the free channel in order to draw the defender towards him and open up the pitch for the player on the ball. If the player in the middle is found and is not followed by the marker, he can then turn and drive forward with the ball towards the opposition goal in order to find a key pass to one of our wingers or shoot. Otherwise, if the player in the middle is found but is followed by the marker, he must look to play back to the defender or the goalkeeper to avoid a loss of possession.
